My Top 5 Favorite Cat Products
I recently adopted not one, but TWO, cats from a local animal shelter. I honestly don’t know how I’ve been living without a cat in my life for the past few years. They are so sweet, playful, and lovable. Both Jax and TiTi love giving sandpapery-kisses. They deserve all of the love and affection in the world, and so I have compiled a list of handy gadgets to make loving and spoiling your feline friend easier, and more fun, than ever before.
Has your cat ever been shut out of a room, or inside of one, and meowed and scratched at the door for what seems like forever? The Kitty Pass Cat Door can help fix this issue, and it looks just so cute! Featuring a set of ears on the front and a long tail on the back side, this ultra chic cat door will definitely be a topic of conversation in your home!
2. Sisal Rope
Are you worried about your cat sharpening his or her claws on your brand-new leather sofa or your boxspring? Here’s a great hack: You can wrap sisal rope(the same stuff used on expensive scratching posts and cat condos) around literally anything! I have a leg of my sewing table wrapped in this stuff, and my kitties love it! The best part is– you can get 100 feet of it for under $15!
Did you know that you can grow a TON of catnip for less than the price of two store-bought catnip plants? It’s seriously the gift that keeps on giving, your cats will love this stuff. I live in Florida where the soil is dry and sandy– but catnip will grow even where grass won’t! Catnip can easily be grown both outdoors or in a pot, in full sun(like a sunny window). This particular package of catnip contains 5,000 seeds!
Available in black and white, Scoopy the Cat Littler Scoop Holder will hide your litter scoop with style! I hate my guests seeing my litter scoop by the litter box(even if it’s clean), and this will solve that issue! Plus– it’s just so adorable!
If you really hate your cats’ litter box, try the Litter Kwitter! The Litter Kwitter easily helps you train your cat to use…wait for it…. the toilet! Your guests won’t even know that you have a feline friend, with no litter box smells or a litter box to scoop! If only we could teach the cats to flush…
In all seriousness, I plan on trying this with my two newly adopted shelter kitties when they get better acquainted with my house. There are so many cats and dogs living in shelters, so please make time to help them find their forever homes by adopting, fostering, making a donation, or spending time getting to know these animals and showing them love. #opttoadopt
